Not a good place to fish

Lake Shelby was not a good place to go fishing. It had so many trees down, brush and tree debris everywhere. Looks like it has not been clean up in years, trees in the lake, in the center of lake as well. Could not get to certain spots to fish and the lake is not that big so it should have been cleaned all around so you can fish from the bank, also areas where you could fish was very shallow, even the cranes were standing up at least 20 feet out. We caught one fish in 3 hours ( I do believe that was a fluke) and the rest of the time no bites. I think the little lake is fished out. There also was a deck to fish on but it was down on one side and all they have to do is move it back up and repair it. It has caution tape around it. Sad they let this park go. The golf course was the only thing that looked good and manicured, goes to show they don't care about the rest of it. This state park & campground, lakes should have been taken care of all around and not just the golf course.
