About Moro Bay State Park

Parking facilities include a screened gazebo, picnic area and hiking trails, as well as a parking garage.

You will find a small parking lot where Moro Bay and Raymond Lake flow into the Ouachita River. The cottages will be fully equipped and have access to the main entrance of the park, parking, toilets, showers, picnic areas, water and fire places, playgrounds and other amenities.

The cabins are wheelchair accessible and can meet the needs of visitors with disabilities. The 1100 square metre design will also include an outdoor living area, which includes a picnic grill and tables.

The park entrance will be located at the entrance to Moro Bay State Park, on the west side of the parking lot, south of Main Street, on the northeast corner of Morris Bay.

The trees are located at the bottom of the park and the fruits of these trees produce a fine jelly. The Deer Run Trail is best known for its scenic views of Moro Bay, the Hudson River, Mora Bay and Morris Bay.

On the way, deer and other wild animals are regularly seen, but also birds, squirrels, birds of prey, rabbits, coyotes, foxes, raccoons and many other animal species.

The trail winds through some of the largest trees in the area and the state, giving hikers the opportunity to observe many species of animals and birds. The trail is open in the summer months due to flooding by the Ouachita River, but not in the winter months.
