About Village Creek State Park

Here you can enjoy the rolling hillside scenery of Village Creek State Park and its surroundings. The ridge is covered with geological anomalies and is home to a variety of wildlife including deer, elk, coyotes, foxes, rabbits, birds and other wildlife.

The park also includes a 15 km horse trail, and hikers are offered the opportunity to explore the forest on their own or on a guided hike. Interpretation programs and exhibits tell the story of Village Creek State Park and its surroundings, as well as the history of the park.

The fishermen fish in the lake perch, bream, catfish and cappie, as well as trout, perch and other fish species. From spring to Labor Day, there are a variety of outdoor activities such as hiking, fishing, camping, kayaking, canoeing and kayaking.

Horse riding has become a popular pastime in the park, the second largest in the state of Arkansas.

Twenty to five miles of busy trails wind through rolling hills, and horse-drawn trails are open year-round. In current hiking conditions, this park is considered one of the best in Arkansas for hiking, biking, mountain biking and cross-country skiing.

The horse campsites have 10 to 10 stables equipped with water and electric ceiling fans, and the horse campsites have a variety of amenities such as water, fireplaces, showers, toilets and showers.

The park's visitor centre includes an interpretation centre, discovery room, visitor centre and interpretation centre. A barbecue and picnic table are located near the cabins and there is a fully equipped cottage on a nearby ridge. The Park Campsite comprises 96 campsites on Lake Dunn, including a full service golf course, golf carts, tea boxes, picnic area and a picnic room with picnic tables.

The park also includes two paths, one fenced and one open, and it is the shortest and easiest way that the park offers to be accessible to almost everyone. Lake Austell has a full service golf course, golf carts, tea boxes, picnic areas and a picnic area.

Many trees along the way are signposted, and numerous benches invite you to long visits, as well as a picnic area with picnic tables, picnic benches, benches and picnic chairs.
