Drivers traveling on Highway 128 in the Napa Valley toward San Francisco Bay are faced with an 11-kilometer (6-mile) Redwood Tunnel that leads to the ocean, while the rolling hills of Navarro River Redwoods State Park in Marin County, California are nearby.
Navarro is a magnificent sight, and the park is popular with anglers, canoeists and kayakers in late winter and spring. A second redwood stretches along the length of the parks and from the bridge over the Napa River you can enjoy a view of the Navarro River Redwoods State Park.

The park is located on the north side of the Napa River at the intersection of NapA River Road and Highway 101. Paul M. Demmick campsite is conveniently located in the park, just a few blocks from the entrance to Redwood Trail.
Navarro Beach Campground is located at the mouth of the Navarro River near the Pacific Ocean. The access road is bounded by the Navarro Bridge on the south side and the Napa River Road on the north side.
The weather can be changeable, but in coastal parks it is recommended to wear very warm and layered clothing in summer, especially in the summer months.
