About Bashbish Falls State Forest
In the far southwest of the state, there is a state park known for its spectacular waterfalls, the Bashish Falls State Forest. Here you will find water that cascades down and then falls into a glittering basin, then back into the river.
Bashish Falls State Park is located in southern Berkshire and western Massachusetts and offers over 30 miles of hiking trails, including the South Taconic Trail Wilderness Camp. The nearby Mount Everett State Forest offers a wide variety of hiking trails and tents, as well as a variety of waterfalls. Bashish Fall is part of nearby State Forest Mt. Everett, which boasts more than 1,000 acres of state park land. Taconsic State Park in New York is located on a river near the waterfalls and just a few miles south of Bashishes Falls.
