About Flathead Lake State Park

Flathead Lake is one of the largest lakes in the Flathead National Forest and the second largest in Montana. Known for its fishing, it is also known as the most popular destination for boating, canoeing, kayaking and fishing in North America. Flachkopf is a great place for hiking, camping, fishing and other outdoor activities, as well as fishing.

There is a popular dive site located at the top of Wild Horse Island, and there are several other popular dive sites in the park, such as the Big Arm Reef.

The Big Armor's long pebble beach is popular with sunbathers and swimmers, but the big attraction is the Big Arm Trail, a 1.5-kilometer trail through the park. The property covers 55 acres and is 2,967 feet high and is one of the largest hiking trails in Flathad Lake State Park. Others include camping with stands of mature Ponderosa pines and junipers, fishing for lake trout, hiking, camping and fishing, boating, kayaking, canoeing, mountain biking and hiking.

Nearby Polson has a golf course and three museums, and the park also has a vaulted cabin, a museum, an amphitheater, a picnic area, a swimming pool, golf courses and a golf club.

You only need to bring your own camping equipment, such as tent, tent bed, bed linen and other camping equipment. We now have the largest campground in the state with more than 1,000 square meters of tent space. In addition to a large number of picnic tables, picnic benches, a picnic table, there are also many outdoor seating and water.

Fishing in the park requires a joint state / tribal fishing license, and fishing in this park is required for all joint state and tribal fishing licenses. Campers may stay only 7 days in a period of 30 days, but campers can stay as long as they like, up to 6 days. It is located on the west side of Flathatead Lake State Park, just outside the town of Fayetteville, Georgia.
