About Franconia Notch State Park
Franconia Notch is the famous Old Man's Mountain, immortalized by Nathaniel Hawthorne and Daniel Webster, and a spectacular pass crossed by a unique park road that stretches from Flume Gorge in the south to Echo Sounder Lake in the north. Franconian mountains and is one of the most popular hiking and camping destinations in North America.
