About Cimarron Canyon State Park
Cimarron Canyon State Park is located in the highlands of New Mexico, where spectacular palisades and clear, flowing water dominate the landscape. This cool, high mountain park offers excellent fishing for trout, and fishermen can fish for available brown and rainbows in a variety of water types, from deep to shallow. Small trout in solitude can be found in both deep and shallow waters, but there is a wide range of trout species available for fishing in this national park, such as brown trout and rainbow trout.
In autumn and winter, hunters are drawn to the high mountains of Cimarron Canyon State Park, where they can enjoy spectacular views of the Colorado River and its tributaries, as well as the beautiful mountain range.
Cimarron Canyon State Park is located on the west side of the Colorado River, north of Colorado Springs, Colorado. The fauna is a mixture of mammals, birds, reptiles and amphibians, as well as a variety of birds of prey.
