About Taughannock Falls State Park
Taughannock Falls State Park is one of the standout natural attractions in the Northeast. At the end of a gorge path, the gorge edge path offers spectacular views of waterfalls from above and below.
Taughanock Falls plunges 215 feet from a rock face that rises nearly 400 feet above the canyon.
The campsites and cabins overlook Lake Cayuga, and there is a marina, a jetty and a beach nearby, but the jetty is not suitable for all types of sailboats. The park also offers a variety of hiking and cycling trails as well as a number of picnic areas and picnic tables.
