About Molalla River State Park
This natural area is located at the confluence of the Willamette and Molalla rivers. The floodplains of both rivers provide a great place for hiking, biking, canoeing, kayaking, fishing and everything you can do. Imagine a ferry ride from one place to another, combined with a picnic area, hiking trails, wildlife observation areas, waterfalls, a riverside park and more.

Fishing is a popular activity and Molalla River State Park has a pet exercise area where you can let your dog off the leash. A boat ramp provides easy access to the river, and fishing can be done on the shore or in the water. The river can also be crossed on the Canby Ferry, which is about a quarter of a mile downstream.
Fruit, vegetables and flower stalls abound on some of Oregon's most beautiful farm land. There are three ferries on the Willamette River, one of which is in the Molalla River State Park.
