This compact park covers a beautiful 500-acre park near Lake Jackson and offers a variety of hiking, biking, camping, fishing and other outdoor activities. Located near the Alabama - Florida line, this park is an ideal destination for campers looking to avoid the harsh winter months in the north.
Swimming, fishing, surfing and skiing are allowed on the lake, pedal boats can be rented in spring and summer. Day-use areas are a cycle path that extends the entire length of the park from the campsite.
A picnic area with a jetty of 200 feet is also a day area and two meeting rooms are available that can accommodate up to 50 people.
Florala State Park Campground has a variety of places where you can have picnic tables and barbecues with picnic tables and barbecues.
A large gazebo is available for campers and can be used in a variety of ways, such as camping, picnicking, fishing or camping. A boat dock is located on the campground to provide amenities for park visitors. The oldest Masonic festival in the world takes place in our town of Florala, and this week - long event takes place in the last full week of June, which is called by the locals as the 24th of June celebration.
