About Queen Wilhelmina State Park
Kansas City, Pittsburg and Gulf Railroad built a vacation hotel called the Queen Wilhelmina Inn on the site of the old Castle in the Sky, a hidden haven for the wealthy and wealthy. Located on Talimena Scenic Drive, the park is a new park that is the focal point of the park. Two inns have replaced the original "Castle in the Sky" and have added the parking booths to the landscape.
The lodge has 38 rooms, including a wood-burning stove, a seating area and a dining room with a fireplace. The lodge offers views of the park, Talimena Scenic Drive and the river.

The trail starts south of the lodge stairs and goes up a hill for two miles to a stone barn and then down a steep, steep slope to the river.
