The perfect backdrop for the park is the scenic view from the top of Mount St. George to St. George Island State Park.

Few parks offer a better opportunity to fly across the Gulf Coast than St. George Island State Park, and the park offers a great opportunity to nest in one of the most beautiful areas of the Gulf of Mexico. Two boat ramps provide access to the bay of Apalachicola, where anglers can fish for bluefish, redfish, whitefish and other fish species, as well as a variety of shellfish.

Original campsites can be reached via hiking trails or by private boat, and each campsite has a fully equipped campfire, picnic table, water cooler, fireplace and other amenities. The park was treated with respect for the safety and well-being of its residents and visitors.

Up to 60 campsites with electricity and water connections can be reserved through Reserve America.

It is located on the east side of St. George Island State Park and has a total of 6,000 acres of open space and more than 100 miles of hiking trails and trails.

Primitive camping is possible at Gap Point, but it is only accessible on foot and there are no pure campsites. Youth groups can camp at the campgrounds on the east side of St. George Island State Park, and at the primitive campground on the west side.

The youth group must have a guide who is available at all times and the reservation for youth camps must be made at least 24 hours before the opening date of the campsite. A limited number of primitive campsites and primitive campsites are available on the east side of St. George Island State Park.

Swimming and sunbathing are popular activities and visitors can reach the 4 km long beach from the main road of the park. The park offers a variety of activities such as kayaking, canoeing, hiking, fishing, swimming, boating and fishing.

The last 5 km of the eastern pass can only be covered on foot or with a special permit for off-road vehicles. There are two well maintained ramps at the entrance to St. George Island State Park. One ramp is located on the grounds of a youth camp, the other 2 km from the entrances. Both ramps are limited to small boats under 24 "and well maintained and accessible by boat from the main road or from the park entrance.

Knowing the local conditions is necessary for safe boating in this region, and one should be aware of the conditions in St. George Island State Park.

Canoeing and kayaking are popular activities in the park, and small boats can be rented on the island or used for fishing off the islands. Note that the bay is very shallow, so please call the parks for more information.

In Florida, a license to fish in saltwater is required, but surfing and bay fishing can earn up to $1,000 a day, or $2,500 a year for a two-year license.

The park offers 6 large shelters on the beach, equipped with toilets and showers, and 6 small shelters along the coast. The promenade, benches, resources and information offer a wide range of activities for children and adults as well as a variety of outdoor activities. The campsite starts at the end of the East Slough Trail, which can be reached on foot, by bike or by car from the park's car park.
