This waterpark on the coast offers a wealth of leisure activities, which include swimming, snorkelling, surfing and diving, or just relaxing on the sand. Also popular are kayaking, canoeing, fishing, swimming, boating, climbing, paddling, surfing, kayaking, diving and much more.

At the southern end of the park, Fort Pierce Inlet is a popular fishing and dining spot. Dynamite Point was once the site of one of Florida's most famous rock formations and is now a haven for birdwatchers. Visitors can skip the observation tower to catch a glimpse of islands in the Indian River, picnics on the beach and picnic spots along the coast. The Nature Centre of the Park, located one kilometre north of the Park, offers hiking, cycling and nature trails.

On reservation, there are campsites for primitive and youth groups, and primitive youth groups and campsites are available. The park is called Fort Pierce Inlet State Park, a state park in Florida.

The park is located between the Atlantic Ocean and the Indian River Lagoon and provides a variety of habitats and food sources for all types of migratory birds on the coast. Bird watching is a popular pastime in this place, and it's not just the sunny beaches of Florida. The hotel is also located in Fort Pierce, Florida, just a few miles south of the park entrance.

Dynamite Point became known for the activities of the Navy's underwater demolition team. During World War II, more than 140,000 soldiers were stationed in the area, and many of them practiced here for the D-Day invasion of Europe.

The park, located in the St. Lucia district, consists of two separate sections. A small portion of the State Park borders the north shore of Ft. The bay is broken by a narrow strip of land between the east and west shores of Fort Pierce Bay.

The other part borders the larger Jack's Island Preserve, which is 1.5 miles north of the park.

Together they offer the opportunity to discover a wide variety of animal and plant species.

It is named after Lieutenant Colonel William Pierce, who built the US Army fort in 1838, and the military connection extends far beyond World War II.

A natural waterway northeast of Jack Island reaches the fort from the ocean, but when the bay was closed in the early 20th century, it was reopened to the public.

In the famous Indian River lagoon there is a primitive youth camp, which is only available to organized youth groups. This is a very pleasant place to relax and observe the native wildlife that visits the lagoons every day in search of food. Swimming is not allowed in the Indian River lagoon, as there is no Atlantic Ocean and no lifeguards are employed. Swimming is allowed on the shore of the lagoon, however, as long as you are within 1,000 feet of a body of water.

Visitors to the park can enjoy the beauty of the beach for which it is known, and it has great views of Fort Pierce Island and the Indian River Lagoon, as well as the sea.

The park offers several areas where canoes and kayaks can start or start, as well as the Indian River lagoon and its estuaries. Bring a picnic, take a leisurely stroll, explore the pristine lagoon estuary and its diverse wildlife, or find a gem and picnic at one of the many picnic spots.

If you like fishing, this is one of the hottest places for fishing on land, and you must observe all fishing lines in the park. At certain times of the year, you can see fish wandering along the coast and through the bay. You can catch various fish species, including bluefin, bluefin tuna, redfish, mackerel, whitefish and many others.

In March 2008, the Palm Beach Post named Pierce Inlet State Park the best surf spot in South Florida. Due to the impressive waves, this park hosts a large number of surfing competitions throughout the year from September to February. The waves are at their best, but surfers can stream in at any time of day or night, with great surfing due to the reef lines just in front of the jetty.

Non-residents must obtain a Florida license to fish from the shore, and the park limits fishing to a maximum of 10 feet from the shore.

Snorkeling is a popular pastime when the weather permits, but diving flags must be displayed.

Snorkelers can enjoy the beautiful tropical marine fauna that awaits them below. Most of the year the water is much warmer than you might think in the Bahamas, and if the weather allows, you can snorkel.

The park has 5 covered pavilions, which are available on the basis of First Coming, First Serve for $5 per person or $10 per day. None of the pavilions have electricity or water, but all have pavilions, and all (1, 2, 3, etc.) are surrounded by larger pavilions.

We have a paved cycle path that leads through the park and takes you to the playground, picnic area or, if you prefer, the beach. The Oak Hammock Trail takes visitors to one of the few remaining oak hammocks in the state of Florida, and you can see many native trees, including some that were once found in Fort Pierce Island State Park, as well as many other parks in Florida.

We have a reef located about 100 meters from the beach, and here you can explore the underwater paradise of the Atlantic. Diving is possible, but a plume must be shown and diving is only done on the reef, if possible, not in the water itself.
