The two-room cabins are available all year round, the single cabin from April to October. The cabin options with single, twin and triple rooms are all equipped with heating and air conditioning. Single rooms in the cabin are between 1,000 and 2,000 square meters in size and single houses in two, three or four bedrooms in each cabin.

Each tenant must provide their own bed, bed linen and crockery, as well as access to a bathroom and kitchen with sink, toilet, kitchen and kitchen.

Climbers and abseilers will find many challenging rock faces made of rugged Dolomite limestone in the park. Some of the most popular rocks - rock climbing - are on the Backbone Trail, and climbers and rappellers must register at the park office.

Backbone State Park opened in 1920 and was the first state of Iowa, and it is still one of the most significant.

Backbone is named after the bend of the Maquoketa River, which crosses its narrow, steep ridge. Folklore calls this high ridge the "backbone of the devil," and erosion and secular decay have carved the rock into a flying pillar.
