Glen Elder State Park is located on one of the largest lakes in Kansas and offers almost unlimited recreational opportunities. Glen Elder offers something for practically every outdoor activity and is located just a few miles north of Kansas City, Kansas, just outside Wichita.

The Kanza shower is open from 9 am to 5 pm. M. M., London. Depending on the weather and the modern toilets and showers, the buildings are open all year round, even in the winter months.

Glen Elder State Park offers many opportunities for fishing, from flat-headed catfish to big game such as boating and fishing. The Kanza and Osage boat ramps offer excellent access to the lake and ADA docks, and the full-service marina offers a wide selection of boats, kayaks and paddle boards.

There is plenty of space for campers of all preferences, with a wide range of camping facilities from tents, campsites, cabins, tents and trailers to small boats.

The park offers a wide range of leisure activities including boating, canoeing, kayaking, fishing, hiking and camping. The Osage area has been doing well for several years, with a good number of visitors and many visitors to the park every year.

The Chautauqua Pond offers easy access for disabled people and children, and in winter the pond is filled with trout. The Pawnee Overlook offers great views of the Osage River and its tributaries, as well as the river and lake.

The complex offers a large cellar room reserved for group events, a sloping church room reserved for weddings and a larger room for private parties. The old church building with its original stone walls offers visitors a glimpse into the past of the area.

There is a recently completed replica of Waconda Springs, and this historic and cultural theme park could complement the park as well as the old church in the future.

The full service marina offers a variety of amenities including kayaking, fishing, boating, swimming and fishing boats. There are some minor water hazards, so be careful and reduce your speed, but all six boat ramps are within walking distance of the park's main entrance and parking lot.
