Graham Cave State Park is located on the hills above the Loutre River in Montgomery County and features an unusual sandstone cave where evidence has been found that has rewritten the history books. Archaeologists from the University of Missouri have discovered artifacts in Graham Cave, one of the oldest human settlements in the USA, which prove the existence of a human settlement.

Graham Cave, located on an isolated hill in a hill state park, was once used as a hideout and became historically significant when archaeologists discovered evidence of how long ago it was that there was a human settlement. The artefacts, discovered in June 2010 during archaeological excavations near the entrance to the cave in Graham, Missouri, have since been discovered by archaeologists from the US Geological Survey (USGS).

Graham Cave is surrounded by 356 hectares of unspoilt land known as Graham Cave State Park.

Visitors can enter the cave where interpretative signs point to interesting discoveries. Several hiking trails wind through the park's woods and clearings, and a boat ramp on the Loutre River provides access for boating and fishing.

For those who need a longer retreat, wooded campsites offer a variety of camping options, such as a campsite, picnic area or outdoor recreation area. The natural beauty and features of the park, as well as its proximity to the Loutre river, make it a popular destination for hikers, campers and families.

Graham Cave Glades Natural Area is equipped with a rich variety of characteristic light types that support a wide range of light conditions, such as sunsets, sunrises and sunsets. Graham Cave State Park has access to many animal species including white-tailed deer, coyotes, raccoons, squirrels, birds of prey and many other wildlife. The park also has a long history as one of the most popular tourist attractions in the state of Florida.

Located at the southern end of the park, a paved boat ramp provides access to the Graham Cave River and its tributaries, and avid fishermen and boaters can enjoy the river from 7 a.m. to sunset.

The ramps are free of charge, but the ramp is closed from 2 December to 15 March. A picnic area is located on the west side of Graham Cave, just off the main entrance to Graham Cave State Park.

Fishermen can enjoy the Loutre River to see catfish and bluefin perches, and fishing is allowed from 7 a.m. to sunset. There is no designated fishing area in the park, but you can fish on the river and its tributaries and on the beach.

There are four picnic areas in the park, with picnic tables, picnic benches, picnic tables and picnic chairs. A nearby playground is currently being renovated, and these facilities are helping make it one of the state's most popular picnic spots.

The houses can accommodate up to 80 people and covered accommodation is available from April to October 30. Covered accommodation is available in the park from 1 July to 30 September and from 1 October to 31 December 2016. The property is also available in the summer months from August to December 2017 and in the winter months.

Reservations are possible for the summer months from 1 July to 30 September to 31 December 2016. Graham Cave is the first archaeological site in the United States to be designated a National Historic Landmark in 1961.

Several hiking and cycling trails wind through the park, allowing visitors to get up close and personal with Graham Cave and other historic sites. The Fern Ridge Trail is a walkable trail that winds through a shelter and picnic area and is connected to the Graham Cave Trail. This trail leads from a picnic hut at the southern end of the park to a northern campsite. Loutre River Trail, the longest hiking or biking trail in the park.

The Indian Glade Trail is a walkable path that leads to the cave, where interpretative signs point to interesting discoveries. The Loutre River Trail offers plenty to do on both sides of the River Loutre for hiking, biking and horse riding.

The Graham Cave Trail is an asphalt road that leads to the interpretative sanctuary and also to the campsites. The trail passes through the main parking lot of the park, as well as the Indian Glade Trail, the Loutre River Trail and some other trails.

The asphalt road has a steep incline and has been an accident focus, especially in recent years due to poor maintenance.
