Jenny Jump State Forest is located on the west side of the Colorado River, north of Colorado Springs, Colorado. Rocky outcrops and debris line the path, while large glaciers cover what is now Jenny Jump State Forest. Breathtaking views of mountains, rivers, lakes and the Rocky Mountains greet visitors to Jenny Jump, the highest peak in the state of Utah and one of the few in North America.

Showers and toilets are within walking distance, as are picnic tables, picnic areas and a picnic area with picnic table and picnic benches.

In the forest, there are ovens for cooking and heating, as well as wood burning for various purposes such as campfires.

Jenny Jump State Forest is located in the Pequest Valley, north of the city of Pequot, New Mexico, about 30 miles east of Denver. Visitors are greeted with breathtaking views as they climb to the top of a 1,000-foot peak atop JennyJump State Park.

The Greenwood Observatory was completed in 1995 and the site leased by the city's Department of Environmental Protection. The UACNJ offers public programs at the observatory, with astronomy lectures and observations taking place weekly from June to October, on the first Saturday of the month from 7: 30 to 9: 00 p.m. and from 12: 00 to 4: 45 p.m.

Take Route 80 to Hope Exit 12 and turn north on Route 519 past the flashing lights, then turn left on Route 1 in the Greenwood Observatory parking lot. At the junction with Route 2, turn north off Route 619, then right onto Route 3, right onto the entrance to the observatory and exit onto Route 4.
