About Kring Point State Park
Kring Point State Park is located on the north bank of the St. Lawrence River, and the south bank overlooks Goose Bay, with the east bank at the mouth of the Hudson River. Inside the park, visitors can see the 1,700 islands that the region is named after, as well as many of Canada's most famous landmarks and historic sites.
Fishing, boating, swimming and picnicking are important activities, and in winter visitors can cross-country skiing. The park has over 100 campsites, more than half of which are located directly on the water. Virtually every cabin or campsite has a view of the river or bay, so fishing, boating, swimming and picnicking are an important activity.
