About Dabney State Park
Away from swimming and picnics, the classic summer resort of Dabney has been a popular cooling spot for over 50 years. When you visit State Park in the heart of New Hampshire's most popular tourist destination, it's easy to see why.
We took a trip to Dabney State Park, made possible by a partnership with the Oregon Disc Sports Association. This new part of the park features a new picnic area, a covered picnic hut and an outdoor pool. We had a great time on the asphalt road leading up to the classic swimming hole, but we quickly filled it on a hot day. A wide range of outdoor activities, from picnics to discgolf, is available, as well as a wide range of water sports.
Near the swimming pool there is a boat ramp, open all year round for boaters, as well as year round for picnics and boat trips.
Alcohol is not allowed and dogs are not allowed on the park grounds except when seeing a dog or on any of the park grounds at any time.
