Twin Harbors Beach State Park is one of the most popular beach parks in the state of Maine and is located on the Pacific coast. The area offers a great opportunity to lay on the sand and enjoy the sun in one of the most beautiful places in the world. Beach activities are widespread, including hang gliding, surfing, beach ridges, etc.

The park is open all year round - for tents and day use, but please check in well before 1pm for the most popular campsites, such as the beach and beach areas.

In the 1930s, the park was a military training ground, but in 1977 the last remaining barracks were demolished and the park itself was redesigned as a public park.

Most services are available within a few miles of the park, but larger rigs may have problems with the size of their rigs. The park has a number of campsites, some of which are small and close together, and the maximum length of a pitch is 35 feet, possibly due to limited availability.

Campsites 192 and 284 are located on the sea side of the motorway and parking is limited to 10 cars. The park offers a group camp that can accommodate up to 60 people, but all campsites must be booked in advance.

Fees vary depending on the size of the group, with a maximum of $5 per person for adults and $2 per child under 5.

The kitchen is equipped with a wood-burning fireplace and the motor-driven electric generator is powered by a diesel engine with an output of 1,000 kilowatt hours per hour. The park has a number of camping facilities, such as tents on the beach or in the parking lot, or you can extend the stay by booking one of the two cabins, one for two or three nights. Check-in is at 13: 00, check-out at 14: 30, quiet hours are 22: 00 - 06: 30, but you can also stay as long as you like, up to three days at a time.

The Pacific Ocean offers surfing and the hotel is located just a few miles north of Aberdeen, about an hour's drive from Aberdeen. Head south of the motorway to Aberdeen and north to Twin Harbor Beach State Park.

When entering the Westport area, pay attention to the signs and park on the right for the Twin Harbor Beach parking lot.
