About Holly River State Park
Located in the heart of Webster County, away from the hustle and bustle of the city, this hotel is the perfect vacation spot. The hotel's location on a hill, just a few kilometres from the city, gives guests a natural sense of peaceful solitude.
The second largest park in West Virginia, with an area of 8101 hectares, is the second largest park in West Virginia. The park is located in a narrow valley and is surrounded by densely wooded mountains reaching an altitude of 2,800 feet.
In the middle of this forest paradise, park guests will find a variety of leisure activities. Play tennis on the modern tennis courts, enjoy nature on one of the many hiking trails, build a natural stone trunk or just enjoy the sun by the pool. Guests visiting Holly River State Park can choose from fully equipped standard cabins for their stay. It is located on a small stream that feeds bay trout that flow through rhododendrons and robust hemlock trout. It is fascinating and beautiful.
Cots and cots are available for a small fee and can be reserved in advance to avoid the handling fee. They come in a variety of sizes and styles, from small to large and from large to small.

The modern carpenter's pavilion is also popular for large groups and family celebrations. The Balli Pavilion is suitable for small groups of up to 30 people and is surrounded by two large pavilions, the Old Pavilion and the modern Carpenter Pavilion.
Accommodations can be booked in advance for up to a year for $1,000 per person or $2,500 for a family of four or more for a year.
Hiking along the many trails that the park offers is a way to get to know the flora and fauna of the region. Two waterfalls, Tecumseh and Tenskwatawa, named after two legendary Indian chiefs in the area, are very popular. For availability and reservations, call the Holly River State Park hotline at (888) 662-8477 or visit the Indiana State Park website.
At the bottom, you won't want to miss the famous Shupe Chute waterfall, but you might prefer to kneel on the top of Tecumseh or Tenskwatawa, or perhaps even Knauff Lake, the state's second largest lake.
During the summer season, the coordinators of the park's nature and leisure programs plan special activities. For additional enjoyment, nature walks are organized in the spring and summer months as well as in autumn and winter.
