About Seminoe State Park

One of Wyoming's treasures is located 35 miles north of Sinclair, Wyoming, and it's Seminoe State Park, which sits at the foot of the Seminole Mountains.

Seminoe Reservoir offers a wide range of water activities and is known for trout and whales. Day and overnight accommodation is available and the situation has been improved in recent years with improved access to the park and a new visitor centre.

North Red Hills Camping has moorings from low tide to high tide and a variety of activities including canoeing, kayaking, fishing, camping, hiking, games and fishing.

Accommodation is available at all locations, but some locations are exposed to the wind and the ground is not even.

The South Red Hills Camping Area has two levels; the lower level offers a boat launch and the upper levels offer lake views. The coast is steep and covered with rocks in most areas, but the boat starts at high tide from high tide to high tide.

The South Red Hills Camping Area is open from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. on weekends and 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on weekdays.

The Sunshine Beach Camping Area offers coastal views, including rocky areas and sandy coves.

There are few developed areas in the area, and the lower levels provide shelter from the wind.

Two drinking water lodgings are available, and the Sandberg Day Use Area offers a picnic area with picnic tables, picnic benches and picnic chairs. Seminoe State Park is located on the west side of the Florida Panhandle, south of Tallahassee, Florida.
