Annadel Park offers wildflower lovers, especially those who enjoy hiking around Lake Ilsanjo, some of the most beautiful views of the state of California, and great views of San Francisco Bay. The best months to see wild flowers in the park are April and May, but the plants are already in bloom in January and not in September.

Black bass weighing at least nine pounds are caught here, and purple plastic worms are a popular bait for perch. Lake Ilsanjo offers some of the best fishing in the state of California for perch, white bass and black bass. If you are over 16 years old, you must have a California fishing license, but if you do not, it is free.

At the end of August and the beginning of September, the Ledson swamp dries up and fish are found there. Camping in the park is available for $5 per person per day or $10 for two nights. Fireplace stoves and barbecues are not allowed, but camping is not limited to a maximum of four people per campsite per night.

The campsites are located on the west side of the park, near the entrance to Ledson Swamp and at the southern end of Annadel State Park.

Horses and bicycles are only allowed on designated trails, hiking is not allowed and drinking water should be carried along the way. The water in Hunter Springs is for horses only and the water in Ledson Swamp is for bicycles.

No cars are allowed and dogs are only allowed in the Channel Drive parking lot, but you must always be on a leash and not walk along the way. Lock your car, take your valuables and lock your cars in a safe place, such as a garage, garage gate lock or in the trunk of your vehicle.

Take what you bring with you, such as food, water, snacks, clothing and other personal items, as well as other valuables.
