About Werner-Boyce Salt Springs State Park

The salt springs may look small, but they are an astonishing 340 metres deep and protected. The park is protected by the Werner - Boyce Salt Springs State Park Conservation Area (WMCW) and the National Park Service.

Birdwatchers can observe a variety of birds such as the blue heron, the little owl, black woodpeckers and many other species. The park and its waters are home to numerous species of waterfowl, birds of prey, reptiles and amphibians.

Future plans include more visitor access and recreation, and the new park will be the first of its kind in the state of Utah, according to the Utah Department of Natural Resources.

The entrance to the park is at the end of Cinema Drive (Scenic Drive) and is about 2.10 s miles away. US-19 turns from Kino Drive onto Cinema Drive and then into the Utah State Park and Recreation Center parking lot.

It is located on the Gulf of Mexico in western Pasco County and is one of the largest national parks in the state of Utah and the second largest in Utah. The park covers a total of 2,500 hectares, of which 600 hectares are highlands and all other 2800 hectares of wetland or flooded and includes four miles of unspoilt coastline. A small part of this park was opened to the public in March 2001 and a small part of it is open to the public in June 2001.

The entrance to the grounds is on the scenic Drive in Port Richey and the entrance area consists of two parking spaces, one on the west and one on the east side.

The rest of the park is under development and will eventually offer visitors more access and extensive leisure opportunities. The park has no boat moorings or ramps for moorings, so visitors have to moor their boats elsewhere and can enter the parks from the west. In this area there is a self-composting area and a picnic area with picnic tables, picnic benches and a large picnic table.

Saltwater and coastal fishing can provide a great opportunity for fishing, as well as a variety of other activities such as kayaking, canoeing, kayaking, fishing and boating.

In the future, we will add marked canoe and kayak trails at the beginning of the trail, as well as additional marked canoes, kayaks and hiking trails along the coast. Throughout the park, there are a number of facilities, including a compost toilet and a picnic area located on the west side of Salt Springs State Park, next to the parking lot.

On the land side, there is currently only one starter pack for the public, which consists of a self-composting toilet, a picnic area and a starter kit. The park is located in the Port Richey area of Pasco County and can be reached by turning west on Cinema Drive. The cinema drive ends at the dead end of the start boxes, but there is a parking lot on the west side of the park, west of the cinema drive.

Construction on the park's main usable area is scheduled to begin on January 1 of the new year. The entrance will be north of Ridge Road in Port Richey and south of Cinema Drive in West Palm Beach.
