The northern equestrian farms have horses, goats, sheep, cows, pigs and horses (the animals must be tied to the rails). The riders enjoy a wide range of trails, a large number of hiking trails and 125 campsites, 50 of which are electrically powered.

Water hydrants for drinking water are available and more shower and toilet buildings will be built in the future. The southern campsites have the same facilities as the northern ones, but have their own toilets, showers and fireplaces.

Half of the campsites are still "first come," with first place coming first, but reservations for each campsite can be made online at the Brushy Creek State Park website.

Horses must not be tied to trees, shrubs or park facilities and must be fastened in such a way that they do not cause injury or damage to the park or its facilities. Animals are coupled to a trailer, but must be placed in the trailer hitch, enclosure or enclosure when they are provided.

Portable stables and their electric fences are not allowed in the park or in other parking facilities such as car parks, multi-storey car parks, picnic areas or other public facilities.

The riding stable has 47 pitches, of which 37 are electric pitches and the grounds are also suitable for picnics. The location makes it very inviting to use the nearby boat ramp and beach and this area is also available for picnics.

Non-riding students can also use one of the riding schools, but swimming is only allowed in the designated beach area.

The 690 hectare lake has several boat ramps and a fishing pier, and fishing tournaments are held almost every weekend. At the northern end of the beach area, north of a large sandy beach, which is located along the west side of the lake, there is a fishing pier.

Brushy Creek is a great place for picnics and large gatherings, and there are picnic areas all over the park. The picnic area in the park is one of the most popular picnic spots in the state's parking system.

They offer tables and barbecues, and you can rent two open shelters by contacting the park manager. With about 50 miles of busy hiking trails, there are hiking opportunities for everyone, including hiking trails, mountain biking is allowed on the multipurpose trails.

Please respect the hiking rights of others and stay only on designated trails, maps of the trails are available at the information desk and at the riding stable.

Two distribution areas are located in Brushy Creek SRA, one in the southern part of the park near the creek and the other at a trapping site in the northern part of the park. This can be achieved by taking a $250 bus ride round trip from the trail to the campsite at the southern end of the book.

With its 6,000 hectares, Brushy Creek is one of the largest US national parks and the second largest in Colorado. Visitors can turn away from everyday life and at the same time enjoy the natural beauty of this beautiful creek and its natural features. The construction work is under construction and is to be completed in the future. This will make the stream, its associated facilities and a variety of leisure activities accessible.
