Imagine a heroine escaping her captors by traversing the paths of the wind in the wilderness. This mountain resort is named after the legendary pioneer Jenny Wiley and is the only national park in North America. Captured by the Indians in 1789, Wiley escaped captivity for 11 months and endured the killing of her brother and children.

If swimming, fishing or boating is not your style, Jenny Wiley State Resort Park will surely have something for everyone. If the park is a paradise for water lovers, then you should swim in one of the many swimming pools, rent kayaks and kayaks.

Audio-visual equipment is available at Jenny Wiley State Resort Park Lodge, as well as a variety of other amenities. The lodge has been run by the park's staff and guests for more than 40 years with a lot of humour and fun.

Enjoy a Or two-room cottages as private accommodation, but pets are not allowed or kept. For private accommodation, you can rent a one or two bedroom cottage or live in one of the four cottages on the property.

The Jenny Wiley Trail Heritage Byway runs along a 154-mile loop through eastern Kentucky, providing access to existing recreational facilities and a variety of hiking trails. Hiking trails can be discovered in the picturesque areas of the park, such as the Green River Trail and along the Red River.

There are many bird species in the area throughout the year, and one of the most popular bird species - observation points in the park is on the asphalt road that leads from May Lodge to the two-bedroom cottage.

Jenny Wiley is a showcase for the performing arts, and the Jenny Wiley Theater presents summer musicals at the park's amphitheater. In 2004, Miss Daisy was introduced driving her red and white pickup truck around the area. Some areas, especially the eastern bluebirds, would be near Jennifer Wiley Executive Golf Course and in front of the golf course parking lot.

All performance times and prices are subject to change without notice. Season runs from July to September, with tickets costing $5 for adults and $3 for children 12 and under, plus $2 for seniors and seniors.

Take the US 23 South exit at 64 East and take the Mountain Parkway exit at 64 West, then the Interstate 64 exit for a short distance to Jenny Wiley.
