About Rangeley Lake State Park
Rangeley State Park covers 869 remote acres spanning 10 square miles of Rangeley Lake.
The lake is home to a variety of bird species, fish, reptiles, amphibians and wildlife.
Fishermen contribute to high-quality fishing by voluntarily catching their catch and releasing it into the lake. This park consists of 2,000 acres of open space and 868 remote acres spread over 10 square miles on Rangely Lake, covering a total area of 1.5 million square feet.
The campsites are small, nestled in fragrant spruce and fir trees, with over 50 pitches, and all have access to the water. For water sports, visitors can enjoy fishing, kayaking, canoeing, swimming, boating and other recreational activities, as well as hiking and cycling.
The campsites and day use areas offer picnics, swimming, concrete ramps and swimmers, and there are trails for hiking and cycling.
