About Chicopee Memorial State Park
The total area is 575 hectares, including a 25 hectare pond, and it has been developed into a heavily used active recreation area with a variety of activities such as hiking, cycling, canoeing, kayaking, swimming, fishing, camping and hiking.
Chicopee State Park is located in southern and central Massachusetts and offers activities such as swimming, fishing and picnics.
Chicopee State Park is located on the east side of the city of Chicopees, about 100 meters from the city of Springfield. About 400 metres further on the left, in the park, there is a monument to the victims of the Second World War and the Battle of Bunker Hill, a major battle of the war.
