About Clear Lake State Park
Clear Lake State Park, a secluded retreat on the shores of Lake Michigan, is set on 290 acres of Michigan land. Boats park on a paved ramp and enjoy swimming on 300 sandy beaches, hiking, biking, camping, fishing, kayaking, canoeing and more.
The rolling wooded hills of Clear Lake State Park stretch from a few hundred feet to over 1,000 feet above sea level and offer views of Lake Michigan.
The park offers a picturesque view of Lake Michigan, Lake Huron and the Great Lakes from east to west and north to south.
Clear Lake State Park announces that canoes, kayaks and rowing boats can be rented in the park during the summer season. Boats will be available for half and full day tours and for short-term rentals of up to three days.
The sandy beach and shallow swimming area make the hotel an ideal place to swim, and the 48.5 mile drive offers the opportunity to see the lake, its coastline, river and a variety of wildlife, as well as some of the most beautiful views of Clear Lake State Park. The changing colors when they change color is a particularly nice time to look around the area.
The 133-hectare Clear Lake is 100 feet deep and is fed by a spring. Two paved starting points provide access to the spring and the entrance to the lake. The lake is ideal for trout and perch and a variety of fish species as well as a number of bird species, reptiles and amphibians have been planted.
Horseshoe courts and playground equipment are located on a sandy beach on the south shore, as well as a picnic area with picnic tables, picnic benches and picnic chairs.
The park is a popular destination for hiking, mountain biking, camping, fishing and other outdoor activities. A hiking loop along Canada Creek offers scenic views of Clear Lake and its surroundings, as well as scenic views of Lake Superior.
The hikers in the park share the trail with hikers from all over the country, as well as with residents and visitors from other parts of the county. The park borders Canada Creek, Lake Superior, Canada Lake and Canada Road, all of which are not far away.
Mackinaw State Forest is located in the southern part of Michigan, north of Lake Superior.
The state forest covers more than 2.2 million hectares in and around the northern eight counties of the Lower Peninsula. Most of the young wood has been removed from the forest since the 1920s and replaced by secondary forest managed by the DNR. Atlanta - Forests cover about 1,000 acres of state land in southern Michigan.
Mackinac State Forest is rich in wildlife such as deer, elk, elk, wolf, coyote, bear and wolf.
Hunting is permitted in the state forest during the permitted seasons, and hunting is permitted in all state forests during the permitted season.
