About Bewabic State Park

Bewabic has 137 camping spaces, located in the wooded areas of the State Park and a number of other state parks. Bewabics has a total of 2,500 hectares of land for camping and hiking and 137 in-place campsites.

It is also home to a number of other state parks, including Bewabic State Park and New York State Historic Park.

The park is also open for snowshoeing, but the other groomed trails in the area must be used by snowshoe lovers. The 2.5 km long trail is prepared for classic skating style, and the trails in the south of the park are ideal for snowshoes, as are the trails in the north.

Perch and bluethroat from Valais are abundant in Lake Glücksee, as are a variety of other bird species, such as perch and bluethroat from Valais.

Park visitors can enjoy horseshoes, volleyball, hiking and tennis, and children can enjoy a variety of activities including swimming, fishing, canoeing, kayaking, horseback riding and hiking.

Equipped with picnic tables, electricity and fireplaces, accommodation for up to four people per day can be reserved for a total of four nights. The trail starts at a campsite and leads to a day-use area, but the benches along the route allow hikers to pause and appreciate nature.

The walk takes about an hour and during the winter time the campsite is closed, leaving time for a walk through the forest and the opportunity to explore a winter landscape.
