The view ranges from undeveloped forest ridges in the west to farmland in New Jersey in the east and from the summit of Mount St. John, the highest peak in New York, to farmland and farmland in the east. The cabin is located directly on Ocquittunk Lake and can accommodate up to two more people with prior permission from the superintendent. Hot and cold running water kitchen, a wood stove and an outdoor shower and a bathhouse.

Cabins No. 7 have a fireplace and the equipment is the same as listed above, including showers with hot and cold running water.

Located 1.5 km from Lake Ocquittunk, the hotel is equipped with cabins No 15 Facilities include a fireplace, hot and cold water, and hot water showers and hot showers. Cabins # 14, # 15 and # 16 are located 1 - 2 miles from Lake OCquITTunk, but all equipment has been updated.

The campsites are available all year round and the capacity varies from group campsites to individual tents and groups of up to 10 people per campsite.

Big Flatbrook and its tributaries are fished annually by the Division of Fish and Wildlife and offer some of the best trout fishing in New Jersey. Lake Ocquittunk and Stony Lake are also stocked with trout, as are several other rivers and streams in the state.

Fishing and hunting in Stokes State Forest is regulated by the New Jersey Division of Fish and Wildlife. Most of the forest is open for hunting, but fishing is limited to a limited number of days per year, and only in the summer months.

Stokes State Forest offers picnic areas with picnic tables and shelters, and the picnic area at Kittle Field is also suitable for large groups. The picnic and play areas in the park and the parking lot can accommodate up to 10,000 square meters of play equipment and a picnic table.

Groups of 20 or more must reserve a picnic area at least five days in advance, and such use is only permitted on public holidays as authorized by the superintendent.

Reservations for picnic areas are handled by individual parking offices, and reservations for picnic areas are limited to a maximum of 20 people. Kittatinny Mountain Ridge follows Stokes State Forest, a narrow, sometimes very rocky path marked by white flames. This trail is only for hikers who want to hike the entire length from Maine to Georgia.

Kittatinny Mountain offers excellent views of the surrounding countryside, and a brochure on part of the way to New Jersey is available at the park office. Sunrise Mountain offers scenic views of Stokes State Forest and Appalachian Trail, as well as a picnic area.

There are more than 33 miles of marked trails, and the length of the trails varies between one mile and four miles. Many of the trails are interconnected, offering hikers access to rocky mountains, scenic views of Stokes State Forest and the Appalachian Trail, and a picnic area.

Sunrise Mountain is one of the most visited places in Stokes State Forest and offers breathtaking views. The summit offers views of Pisgah, Blue Ridge Mountains and Appalachian Trail, as well as scenic views of Mount Pleasant.
