Letchworth State Park, known as the Grand Canyon of the East, is one of New York State's most popular parks and a popular tourist attraction. In its place, Lake Genesee rushes through a rocky gorge surrounded by lush forest.

Hikers can choose from 66 km of hiking trails and hike to the top of Lake Genesee, the highest point in New York State. There are also a number of waterfalls and a variety of other natural attractions, such as the Grand Canyon of the East and Niagara Falls.

Winter activities include snowshoeing, horse-drawn sleigh rides, sleigh rides, snowmobiling and snowmobiling. Letchworth offers a variety of guided hikes, including a guided hike to the summit of Lake Geneva and a snowmobile ride to Lake Erie.

The property is located on the western edge of Letchworth State Park, north of Lake Geneva, and consists of a number of historic buildings as well as a number of modern buildings. The fully restored Glen Iris Inn at the main entrance to the park is open to the public for breakfast, lunch and dinner and offers overnight accommodation.

For family holidays, Maplewood Lodge can be rented and a catering service is available for special occasions. Just a short walk from the main entrance to Letchworth State Park, it is ideal for snowmobiling as it is connected to the NYS Snowmobile Trail System.
