About Chenango Valley State Park
Chenango Valley State Park is an ice age wonder and one of the most spectacular natural wonders in New York State. Two cauldron lakes, Lily and Chenango, were formed when the last glaciers retreated, leaving behind huge chunks of ice that melted in the lake's moors.
Bird watchers observe woodpeckers, warblers and thrushes, and fishermen find trout, perch, perch and oxen in Lake Chenango.
Golfers will appreciate the 18-hole golf course, campers can choose between 216 camping sites and 24 cabins. Cross-country skiing trails are attractive in winter and the side trails are suitable for disabled people.
