About Beaver Creek State Forest

For more than twenty years, the Ohio Department of Natural Resources (ODNR) has been buying land from willing sellers and securing conservation permits. In 1998, OD NR acquired 1,122 hectares east of Grimm and in 1998 acquired land south of Beaver Creek State Forest, north of the town of Beaver Creek.

Those who live in the area or are familiar with it know all these attributes, and there is a great interest in offering a variety of outdoor recreational opportunities, coupled with the protection of this unique resource. Given the nature of the Beaver Creek State Forest and its natural resources, we knew there would be a great interest in exploiting these resources.

It would be irresponsible on our part to overlook this, so that large parts are marked as areas and maps and the websites linked above generally indicate these areas. These points are defined as the boundaries of the Beaver Creek State Forest and other areas within the area.

We have yet to mark the state line between Pennsylvania and Ohio, but we are advising people to designate the area east of the Grimm Bridge as an area.

It is always the hunter's responsibility to know the land he is on, but if you want to hunt on the property, there is also the possibility to hunt on the horse we want you to ride on.

This will not be achieved in a short time and there will undoubtedly be activities that we will not allow at all, such as hunting and fishing.

To this end, we will assess the current facilities and overall needs of the area. To quote the people at the moment: "No one may drive a dog sled on a particular road, path or other facility intended or intended for this purpose, except if authorised by the Chief and his authorized representatives. No person may guide the dog noose on roads, paths or other facilities intended or intended for this purpose, unless authorized to do so by a leader or his authorized representative. When people are caught quad biking on the property, they are "caught" in the forest, not in the park, in a parking lot or on a private property.

Although we have obtained the approval of the boss and his authorised representatives for the dog-loop policy, we believe that this is the most responsible approach.
