About Tomlinson Run State Park

Tomlinson Run is located at the top of the Northern Panhandle in West Virginia and offers a variety of leisure activities to a large number of local and foreign visitors. The park, which takes its name from a river, stretches for miles from the confluence of rivers with the Ohio River. It offers a picturesque view of densely wooded hills, overhanging sandstone and slate cliffs, as well as a wide range of waterfalls and other natural features. The park is roughly divided into two sections and covers more than 1,000 hectares of open space and is an open-air park. Toml Robinson State Park, named after the family of an early settler.

There are also events scheduled from April to October, such as the annual Tomlinson Run Festival, a summer festival with hiking, biking, camping, fishing and other activities.

A yurt is a circular structure consisting of a wooden frame that encloses a door with a small window in front of it in the middle of the building. Although yurts are generally classified as tents, they are much more stable, weatherproof and denser. They are ideal for camping, hiking, fishing or other outdoor activities such as hiking and fishing.

In the park there are two yurts, each for rent for 2 persons, each equipped with a fully equipped kitchen, bathroom, shower, toilet, bed and other amenities. The yurt rental is a unique offer only on Tomlinson Run and is perfect for beginners.

All 39 pitches have electricity, but each pitch has picnic tables and barbecues and is suitable for tents and trailers. All yurt reservations are accepted and treated with a fully equipped kitchen, bathroom, shower, toilet, bed and other amenities. Tomlinson Run offers a wide range of outdoor activities such as hiking, camping, fishing, hiking and more.

There are also rustic campsites, ideal for scouts and other groups who want to take a more robust approach. Reservations are accepted until Memorial Day and can be made on specific dates such as Saturday, May 31, and Sunday, June 1.

In addition to the usual fees, a deposit is required for use of the Tomlinson Run State Park boat moorings located on the north side of the park, just off the main road. Tom Linson, director of the National Park's recreation and recreation service, can fish for perch, catfish, bluefish and trout, as well as trout, salmon and other fish species in the creek. Tomrinsons Run State Park also offers a number of boat moorings where rowing and pedal boats can be rented to visitors for a fee of $5 per day or $10 per hour for two days.
