About Bledsoe Creek Camping State Park
The 164-acre park is located on the east side of the Colorado River, south of Colorado Springs, Colorado. There are 26 campsites, which are also equipped with picnic tables and barbecues, and there is now a new swimming pool, shower and toilet.
Reservations are accepted for all campsites, and camping fees include a dumping fee and parking fees of $5 per vehicle and $3 per person per day.
Bledsoe Creek offers fishing at Old Hickory Lake, and the catch includes perch, bluethroat, catfish and cappie. The park has 2 boat moorings, one of which is located on Ziegler Fort Road and is only accessible to registered campers. Pets are allowed, but must always be kept on a leash and not in the parking lot or on any of the campsites.
A valid TN fishing licence is required and fishing is restricted to areas for wildlife observation. Fishing licenses can be purchased anywhere in the park, but are not sold in the park and can only be used at Old Hickory Lake, which limits fishing to wildlife sightings.
The park has 2 large picnic shelters and each accommodation (one can accommodate up to 50 people) can accommodate over 50 people.
The gazebos are equipped with barbecues and water cones, as well as picnic tables, picnic chairs and a picnic table with table.
