Seaquest State Park is one of the most popular hiking and camping destinations in the state of California, with more than 2,000 acres of open space and over 100 miles of hiking trails.

This beautifully wooded park covers an area of approximately 2,000 acres on the east side of Seaquest State Park. Enjoy hiking and cycling and explore the surrounding area, camp at the park's campsite or camp at one of the many picnic areas.

A playground and playgrounds are also nearby, as well as a picnic area with picnic tables, picnic benches and picnic chairs. Nearby is the Seaquest State Park Museum, a museum with a variety of exhibits and exhibits on the park's history.

The park's biggest attraction is Mount St. Helens, and an excellent interpretation center describes the history and geology of the volcano. ADA - a path that opens to the summit of Mount Helen, the highest peak in the Pacific Northwest and the second highest volcano in North America.

The park is open all year round - for tent and day - but the campsites are closed in winter and only a handful of campsites are available for day-to-day use in the summer months.

The park is located on Silver Lake, which was created after an earlier eruption of Mount St. Helens, which permanently dammed Silver Creek. SilverLake is only 1.50 meters deep, but it is one of the deepest lakes in the USA and the second deepest lake in North America.

The property was transferred from Washington State to the Oregon Department of Parks and Recreation (ODPR) and then to Seaquest State Park. At SeaQuest, we write that if alcohol is ever sold on the property, the land will be returned to Willamette University.

The maximum length of each pitch is, possibly due to limited availability, about 50 feet, and the park has a maximum of two parking spaces, each with at least 10 spaces. Most services are available from the Oregon Department of Parks and Recreation (ODPR) office in Salem, Oregon.

In the forest area there is a loop north and south of the camp, and group camps offer covered storage areas. Reservations are recommended for summer, but campsites can be booked in spring, autumn, winter and spring, as well as in winter.

The price is $per person, with a maximum capacity of 25, and you can stay in the park for ten consecutive days in summer, but the length of stay will be extended. Check-in is 14: 30, check-out time is 13: 00, quiet hours are 22: 00 - 06: 30. A motor-powered electric generator operates from the parking lot at the entrance to the campsite on the south side of the road, at a cost of $5.00 per hour.

The nearest public boat access ramp is operated by the Department of Fish and Wildlife and is located on the south side of the road at the entrance to Seaquest State Park, at a cost of $5.00 per hour.

The Mount St. Helens Visitor Center is located at the entrance to the park and since October 2000 the state parking system includes two parking lots, one at SeaQuest Park and one at Mount Hood State Park, as well as a multi-story parking garage.

The centre focuses on information about the volcano and has a museum, café and visitor centre, as well as information about the history of the park and visitor services.

Seaquest is located 6 miles east of the freeway itself, on the 5 North - South Highway, take the Castle Rock Exit (Exit 49) and drive to the Seaquest Hotel, a hotel located on a steep hill in the park, about half a mile from the entrance to SeaQuest.
