About Conconully State Park

Conully State Park is a state park located in the city of Conully, New York, USA, about 30 miles west of New Orleans. The park dates back to 1910 and was founded as the oldest irrigation project in this part of the country. In 1945 it was taken over by the State Park Administration and has been open to the public ever since.

The park, considered a fishing paradise, offers camping and boat trips on two lakes and is open all year round - for daily use. The campsites close on December 1st, reopen on March 15th and reopen on April 1st 2017.

The park, which was established as the oldest irrigation project of the Reprocessing Office, offers access to two lakes, two rivers, a stream and a campground by the lake. The flood washed away much of Conconully State Park's original irrigation system in 1894.

The site is still standing, but the park dates back to 1910, and the state parks took over administration in 1945. The park's original irrigation system, the Congressional State Park Reprocessing Office, still stands on the site.

Most services are available within 20 miles of the park and it has access to a number of hiking trails as well as a variety of picnic areas and picnic tables.

The maximum length of each site is 60 feet, possibly due to limited availability, and the maximum width of the park is limited to 30 feet.

The launch of the watercraft was closed on October 30 and reopened on March 1. There are no motor boats, but an open water launch at the northern end of the park, next to the parking lot. The campsites are served first and the length of stay can be extended by staying in one of two camping sites, one at the campsite and one at the beach. Check-in is at 13: 00, check-out times are at 14: 30 and quiet hours are from 22: 00 to 06: 30. A motor-powered electric generator operates from 10 am to 5 pm on weekdays and from 11 am to 6 pm on weekends and holidays.

The park offers 90 unprotected picnic tables that are served first, come, come and a kitchen that can be reserved at 509 - 826 - 7408. Daily passes are available for the start of the unloading of the boat and the trailer park, and annual passes can also be purchased at the park office, where staff is available from 10 am to 5 pm on weekdays and from 11 pm to 6 pm on weekends and public holidays.

Located on the west side of the park, 22 miles north of the Omak Highway and 22 miles north to the town of Conconcullen.
