About Curlew Lake State Park

Curlw Lake State Park is a 123-acre camping park on the west side of the Curlew River, south of the city of St. Louis, Missouri. The park is equipped with an active osprey nest that can be seen from the park, as well as a number of other wildlife habitats.

The park has archaeological significance as a former Indian campground and has an active osprey nest visible from the park, as well as several other wildlife habitats. When you fly in, the park will try to help you transport your equipment and the park staff will work with you. The airport is located east of the parks and is just minutes from Curlew State Park.

There is no fee for a place with toilet and shower, and the park has camping pitches for $5 per person per day and $10 per night. The southern campsite has eight pitches with lake views and there is a fee per pitch for toilets and showers.

The main campsite has four pitches for $5 per person per day and $10 per night and there is no charge for toilets, showers or toilets with toilets and showers. Due to limited availability, the maximum length of the pitch is about 40 feet, but there are no toilets or showers and a charge per pitch for toilet and shower for the main pitch.

Most connections require a 35-foot campsite and trailers require 45 feet, but some toilets have two showers and some do not.

There are many fishing lakes and streams in the area, but the Curlew Lake is the best place to fish for trout and mullets. There is a rock rose fossil site and a trip to Grand Forks, Canada, is ideal for a day trip with the family.

The hotel is located on the north side of the park at the intersection of SR 395 and SR 21 North. From Seattle, take SR 20 East, follow the sign for the Republic and drive 2.5 miles on SR21 North to the parking lot of Curlew Lake State Park. Take SR-395 from Spokane to Colville, then follow signs to Republic to Seattle and then south to Curling Lake.

Take SR-20 to cross the lake and continue to Lake Roosevelt and then to the Curlew Lake State Park parking lot on the north side of the park.

Follow SR-21 south for 30 miles and drive over Sherman Pass and then north to the parking lot of Curlew Lake State Park. Take Sherman Pass and merge onto SR 21 North and follow it for another 30 miles to the State Park parking lots.
