About Bogachiel State Park

Bogachiel State Park is a densely wooded park on the northwestern tip of Washington State and one of the most popular hiking and camping destinations in the Northwest of the country. In the north-west, it is a popular saying: "You see the end of this world there, but it is not so."

The park, located at the top of the Hoh Rainforest, is rich in lush vegetation and one of Washington's most popular hiking and camping destinations.

The lush rainforest area is created by the 140 - 160 inches of rainfall per year that occur in the region. The Hoh Rainforest consists of more than 1,000 square miles of forest with a total area of 1.5 million square feet.

The park was founded in 1931, but due to a lack of funds, the state parks concluded an agreement to jointly manage and operate the area as a public park. The park's staffing began in 1961, and was expanded in 1972 with the help of the National Park Service, the state of California.

Each campsite has a standard rest area and a main toilet, including an ADA barrier - free toilet and shower. The park can accommodate up to four campers per pitch, with a maximum capacity of four per camper. For campers there is no kitchen or electricity, but the park offers showers and baths.

There are no group camps or tents in the park, but each campsite is served first and offers access to a whole range of amenities such as showers, toilets, showers and bathrooms.

Each camp can accommodate 16 to 20 people and fees vary depending on the size of the group, with a minimum of $5 per person per day and up to $10 per night per camp.

The park is open all year round - for tents and day use, but the campsites are closed in winter and the park is open all year round for tents.

The park offers six picnic tables a day, set up according to the principle of "first come, first served."

The hotel is located on the top of the hill, right next to the road from the main parking lot of the park.
