About Sequim Bay State Park

Sequim Bay State Park is one of the oldest and most popular parks in Washington State. The name Sequim, which means "calm water," aptly describes the bay where the park is located, and visitors can expect an interpretation. In summer the air is dry and the bays are calm, there is little to no wind, no rain and very low gusts.

The park is open all year round - for tents and day use, but in winter the campsites are closed and the park is closed for the winter months.

Sequim has an average annual rainfall of 17 inches and is located in the heart of the Pacific Northwest, in a region surrounded by the Sierra Nevada Mountains, the San Joaquin Valley and the northern coast of California.

Two natural sandbanks protect the bay's water, and the same sandbar protects the area from the first three expeditions venturing into Puget Sound.

The park offers ice cream and a variety of other food and drinks such as ice cream bars, ice cream and ice cream sandwiches.

Within a few miles of the park, there are a variety of services, and the nearest airport is at the US Air Force Base in San Jose, California.

There are wooded, dry campgrounds that are very close to the water, and the park has a loop connecting to the San Francisco Bay Aquatic Center. Dry campsite can accommodate a camper up to 30 feet, but with a connecting loop the place can accommodate campers over 45 feet.

There are two types of dry camping, one for camping in the forest and one on the beach.

Several of the full links have been removed to make the remaining sites more spacious, but not all are open to the public.

The park offers two bookable campsites, one on the west side of the park and one on the east side, each of which can accommodate up to 50 people.

There is also a kitchen and a horseshoe pit, and both camps are bookable from May 15 to September 15. Pit toilets are available, but the toilets in the group camp are closed indefinitely, so there are no pit toilets.

Check-in is 14: 30, check-out is 13: 00, and quiet times are 22 - 00 and 06 - 30. A motor-driven electric generator operates during the day and in the evening with a maximum power of 1,000 watts. If you stay in a group camp from 15 May to 15 September 2017, make a reservation and extend your stay. Check-in is 14: 30, but you can stay as long as you like until the end of your stay at the camp, from July 1st to October 31st.

The ELC has a fully equipped kitchen, sleeping lodge, dining room, showers, laundry room and laundry room. There is also a full service bar and grill restaurant, a hair salon, an indoor / outdoor pool and a spa and an outdoor dining area.

Rates vary depending on the size of the group, but the ELC costs between $1,500 and $2,000 per night for a single person or $3,400 to $4,200 per person for an all-night stay.

The park offers 424-foot berths for boat moorings, and berths are charged for docks, floats and buoys. Day and annual passes are available, but for information and reservations call 360 - 902 - 8600. Boats launched or tipped over - via trailers, kayaks, can be purchased at the park for $1,000 a day, $2,500 a week or $4,200 a year.

The park offers a variety of accommodations, from low-rise accommodations overlooking Sequim Bay to high-quality cottages. The accommodations can accommodate up to 40 people, and the upper kitchen is located in a tunnel connected to the baseball field and tennis courts.

Tennis courts are also available in the park, with a tennis court available from 9 am to 4 pm on weekends and from 10 am to 3 pm on Saturdays and Sundays and from 4 pm to 8 pm on weekdays.

The hotel is located on the south side of the park, about two miles southeast of Highway 101, south of Sequim Bay State Park. Drive the two miles southeast of the highway and park in the parking lot at the entrance to the campsite, then drive south along the road.
