The Lost River State Park covers 3,712 hectares and is located in the wooded mountains of Hardy County. A wide range of leisure facilities ensures a holiday that is perfect for families, with a variety of hiking, cycling, canoeing, kayaking and fishing opportunities.

Eleven of them are comfortably furnished, the remaining 15 are standard log cabins. Each cottage has a fully equipped kitchen with modern appliances, which are housed in cupboards with cooking utensils and crockery.

Cots and cots are available for a small fee and can be reserved in advance to avoid a handling fee. There is also a bathroom with shower, bath and toilet, as well as a laundry room. Modern cabins on the Lost River are open on the last weekend in March and April, while standard cabins are open on the last weekends in April and close on the fourth Monday in October.

Pets are not allowed in the cabins or in the cabin area outside, and pets must be checked in by 10 am, with check-in at 4 pm. Picnic blankets and large gazebos can be rented throughout the park, as well as picnic tables and benches outside the park.

Lost River is certainly the perfect choice for those who like hiking and enjoying nature, and the Hidden Trails stables and supervised horseback riding offer rewarding walks that take you to every corner of the crows. Several kilometers of hiking trails lead through the park and offer a magnificent view of the entire flora and fauna of the parks.

Lost River State Park is located in Mathias County, New Hampshire, north of the state capital of Concord. Turn west on WV 259 to Mathios and follow the side road for 4 miles to the park entrance.
