About Big Foot Beach State Park

Fourteen sites have electric platforms for recreational vehicles and fourteen sites have electric platforms for recreational vehicles. The campsites in the upper loop have a wooded access to the stream, water, beach, river, lake, creek and lakeside. Located at the bottom of Big Foot Beach State Park, the campgrounds offer a variety of amenities including picnic tables, fireplace, picnic areas, shaded trees, a picnic area and picnic benches.

There is no landfill or contact point, but there is a water connection and there are landfills and contact points at the bottom of the campsites in the upper loop of Big Foot Beach State Park.

Campers can easily drive in and out using the stations and campers in the lower loop of Big Foot Beach State Park. The campsites in the lower loops are located at the lower end of the upper loop and at a point of contact on the west side of a stream.

Big Foot Beach State Park has over 100 campsites and each campsite has a fire ring and picnic table, as well as picnic tables, fireplace and fire rings and picnics.

Big Foot Beach has a 100 foot swimming area and there is a lifeguard in the area as well as lifeguards on the beach. Lake Geneva is known for its clear, clean water, and Bigfoot Beach State Park is home to the largest swimming pool in the world, 1,000 feet deep.

The park's north coast is a good place to anchor and relax during the day, and canoeing and kayaking in Lake Geneva's Ceylon lagoon is possible. There are no jetties in the park, but two public launches are available at Big Foot Beach State Park and Bigfoot Beach Beach.

Fishing is possible in the Ceylon lagoon, and an easily accessible fishing pier is located near the disabled parking lot. Fishing equipment is available free of charge in the office, but a fishing license is required for everyone aged 16 and over.

Horseshoe volleyball is available free of charge in the office, and horseshoe and volleyball courts and other sports are available. Big Foot Beach State Park offers a variety of outdoor activities for children and adults, including hiking, biking, canoeing, kayaking, snowshoeing and snowmobiling.

Pets are not allowed in the common picnic areas, so if you want to picnic with your pet, ask for a designated area near the entrance.

The mixed deciduous forest opens into small meadows and shelters, and the park has a variety of hiking trails, such as the approximately 0.9 kilometer long blue trail. Most routes are relatively short and none are particularly strenuous, but they do take visitors to some of the most scenic areas of Big Foot Beach State Park.

The orange path is located at the eastern end of the access road to the park, and the blue path is generally flat and has a length of 1.5 kilometers, considered moderate due to its slope. The area winds through pine trees planted by park workers in the 1980s, but mowed down and recently restored.

The trail leads through pine forests planted in the 1980s by park staff and mowed on grass and natural soil. The northeastern part of the park is located on the east side of Big Foot Beach State Park, near the parking lot entrance.

The red trail is located in the middle of the park and is about 1.5 km long. It leads through a mixed deciduous forest and meadows. The path, considered moderate, leads from the parking lot entrance to the east side of Big Foot Beach State Park and leads to a mix of pine forests, pine trees, grass and a few grassy areas.

This longest path in the park leads visitors through gentle hilly terrain and into the diverse landscape of the parks. The park is a long way from the entrance to Big Foot Beach State Park and back.

Visitors following this path will enjoy the forest birds and animals that call the park home. This yellow path leads to the entrance of Big Foot Beach State Park and back through the forests of State Park.

Pets are not allowed on the groomed ski slopes and winter hikes and snowshoeing are allowed in the park. The park entrance is located at the eastern end of Big Foot Beach State Park, south of the ski slope. Park staff have set up a hiking trail (winter conditions permitted) along the tracks that cross the west end, and a path along a steep slope near the east side to cross the path to the east end of the park and back to Bigfoot Beach.
