This beautiful 1,080-hectare park is peaceful, with a relaxed atmosphere and a variety of activities for visitors to enjoy. Leisure activities include hiking, cycling, canoeing, kayaking, camping, fishing and other outdoor activities. The campsite is located on a 100 hectare lake and has a picnic area with picnic tables, picnic chairs, a fireplace and picnic table, and a water park.

A primitive campsite is also available, and nearby is a bathhouse, which is ADA - accessible and cleaned daily, and a picnic area with picnic tables, picnic chairs and picnic tables.

A designated swimming area with lawn and benches is available at the entrance to the park. There are no lifeguards, so swimming is at your own risk, but there is a lifeguard near the entrance to Paul M. Grist State Park.

Boat rental is available, but the age for boat rental is 16 years and the person on the boat must have a Coast Guard license.

Children under 8 years of age must wear a swimsuit, bathing cap or other swimwear with a life jacket and sunscreen. Boats are not allowed in the bathing area and children under 6 years of age must wear swimsuits and / or bathing caps.

This lake is 100 hectares in size and is filled with perches, bluethroats, sunfish and catfish. It also houses a launch pad for private boats. Jon's boats are available for hire and electric motors are welcome, but petrol engines are not allowed.

Public toilets and picnic tables are located in the lake area, as well as a number of other amenities such as water parks, picnic areas and a picnic area. Throughout the park there is a variety of food and beverages, from local food trucks.
