Alabama's largest park, Oak Mountain, has more than 1,000 acres of open space, a 1.5-mile pathway system and a 2,500-foot-long, 3,200-square-foot "dot park." The park offers improved campsites and picnics, as well as hiking, cycling, fishing, canoeing and kayaking, horseback riding, mountain biking and hiking trails.

Oak Mountain State Park has a conference room for rent and is located at the rear of the park office. Oak Mountain is certainly exciting for all family members, but it is also a great place for family and friends.

There are no walls, there are no chairs, but the tables are already set up and the room is filled with music and there are walls.

There is no cooking facilities connected to the room, but you are allowed to bring food, but you are asked to leave this room if you find it on arrival.

The room has several power outlets throughout the building and is designed to heat and cool the room, and the bathrooms are located in the park office for easy use.

The trash can is equipped with an additional garbage bag, and the room is in the condition described above. The tenant is responsible for replacing the table and chair with a garbage bag and leaving it in the same condition as the reservation room, which costs $80.

The rental price does not include entrance fees per person and payment is due within thirty (30) days of the beginning of the rental period. The conference room and parking office can be rented for a minimum of two (2) hours a day, seven days a week, for an annual fee of $100.

Only large groups are allowed and no special arrangements can be made to pay the daily usage fee at any time. The Oak Mountain Golf Course is the oldest golf course in Alabama designed by Earl Stone. Oak Mountain, which has been repeatedly rated one of the best golf courses in Alabama and the third best in America by Golf Digest, hosts the qualifying rounds for the Alabama Open and the US Open of Golf each year.

The Oak Mountain Golf Course has a fully equipped pro shop with golf cart, chipping greens and a full range of golf equipment. The Pro Shop is also a WiFi hotspot and hikers are welcome at any time of day from 9 am to 4 pm. Tee times are reserved from 9 am and are not accepted on the same day. Separate reservations are made for quadruplets.

Golfers over 62 years of age receive a 10% discount on their first round of golf at the Oak Mountain Golf Course. Golfers who wish to receive this discount should inform the cashier before making the payment.

On weekends and holidays, each tee requires four shots for just 18 holes and a tee time from 4.30 to 6pm. A. M. is available for $50 for adults. Smaller groups can start from the first minute to the last and are welcome at any time except on weekends, holidays and special occasions.

The Oak Mountain Hut Lake is a place of peace and quiet, hence the name "Lake of Peace," and the area is only suitable for hut guests. The course record was set on April 17, 1978 by then US Open champion Bill Dickson, a member of the Oak Mountain Club.

This 28 hectare lake is located at the foot of the Double Oak Mountain and is often used as a recreation area for hikers, mountain bikers and other hikers. The hut is used for family celebrations and for camping, hiking, camping trips or other outdoor activities.

Ten fully equipped cabins are open all year round and each cabin is equipped for easy cleaning.

Each cabin has its own bathroom, shower, toilet, kitchen and dining area, and linen is provided.

Each cabin has a telephone, and a public telephone is located in the cabin area and can be used on the lake. Boats, lifeboats and paddles can also be rented at each of the cabins, as well as in the car park and garage.

Oak Mountain State Park offers two forms of primitive camping, and group recreation is also offered. Page 50 km of hiking trails offer circular routes that both beginners and experienced campers can use to quickly get up and prepare for future hikes.

Open all year round, the campsite is a popular place for families to escape the hustle and bustle of the modern world. It is nestled on the mountainside, surrounded by rolling hills topped by long-lived pine trees, with views to the east, west and south.

Dogs are not allowed in the park and must be kept on a leash, no more than 6 feet, and dogs are not allowed off the leash within the facility. 6-foot-5 . Dogs are not allowed, but clean - and staying calm and composed during the hours is required. Reservations are accepted and recommended Monday to Friday from 8 am to 5 pm and Saturday and Sunday from 9 am to 5 pm and Monday and Tuesday from 5: 30 pm to 7 pm. Reservations are not possible on weekends.

The pro shop on the golf course is a WiFi hotspot, and they also carry a wide selection of outdoor equipment such as golf clubs, golf balls, umbrellas and other items. Firewood can be bought at the park's fire station or at one of the local fire stations, but there is no limit on the amount of wood that can be collected from the parks before collection. The fire station and fire station in Oak Mountain State Park are open Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Saturday and Sunday from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m., with operating hours varying seasonally.

A non-refundable deposit is required for the reservation and registration is guaranteed on arrival on the website, but not on a specific page. Weekends require a minimum reservation of two nights, weekends of three nights are required for holidays and holidays of four nights.

The outdoor swimming pool is located near the park office on the terrace path, and swimming is also available at the campsite.

Oak Mountain State Park has several lakes for fishing, but swimming is not allowed in either of them (except at the back gate). Fishing licences are sold in the park office and fishing centre, bait in the parking lot next to the entrance to the campsite and on the terrace path in front of the campsite.

A shallow fishing boat that can accommodate 4 people can also be rented at the back gate for $5 per person or $10 per day for 2 people.

If you wish to bring your own boat to the lake, petrol engines are prohibited, but you can bring a boat with paddles and life buoys. You can also bring your own electric motor, which you can use in your boat if you wish, as long as it is at least 5 feet long.

Oak Mountain State Park operates a marina with canoes and pedal boats for hire, as well as a boat shop and picnic area with picnic tables and benches.

The marina is located on Terrace Drive in Oak Mountain State Park, just south of the parking lot on the east side of Oak Ridge Road.

The Oak Mountain Fishing Center is located on the east side of Oak Ridge Road, just south of the parking lot. The rear gate is used only for the fishing centre, and the rear gates are closed after dark. All other visitors should use the main entrance on Interstate 65 and park outside the gate.

Oak Mountain offers two 85-hectare lakes, which are stocked with white bass, bream, catfish and cappie. The lakes are open and maintained and fertilized year-round, and Oak Mountain State Park employees work year-round to open and maintain the lakes.

Electric motors are welcome, petrol engines are not allowed, and private boats can be launched from the lakes. John's boats, which can be rented for $10 per day or $20 per week for a two-day trip, can also be rented for up to three days.

Bait can also be sold in the park, as well as in local grocery stores and other local stores for a fee of $1.50 per pound.

Tackle, supplies and bait are available at the fishing shop at the back gate, and a license is available at the Fishing Center Store at the park's headquarters. Toilets and picnic tables are located around the lake area, but no federal law requires the use of public restrooms or other public facilities in Oak Mountain State Park.

The activities at Oak Mountain State Park make it unique every day, and every outdoor enthusiast appreciates and enjoys it, from the oldest continuously operated BMX track in the country to horseback riding, hiking and camping, there is something for all outdoor enthusiasts to appreciate and enjoy.

Oak Mountain State Park has eight large gazebos that can accommodate up to 150 people, and picnic options are offered every day. Electric motors are welcome, as are gas-powered engines, electric and diesel engines and even gas engines.

Picnic pavilions can be reserved for your group by calling 205 - 620 - 2524, and pavilion reservations are accepted up to one year in advance. But that doesn't mean that many people are housed in a single pavilion, or even in one of Oak Mountain State Park's many picnic spots.

Amplified music systems are only allowed if they are approved by the park administration, and the park caterers allow moon walks and the like. Oak Mountain State Park has about 50 miles of hiking trails that can be enjoyed daily, as well as a variety of picnic spots.

The red, white, blue and yellow trails all start at North Trailhead, which is located on the east side of the park, south of Oak Mountain Road. The rear entrance gives you access to the paths from the car park when you enter through the front gate, as well as to the trailhead.

The Green Trail starts at the Park Office on Terrace Drive, and the Red Trail meets it in several places, as does the Blue Trail on Oak Mountain Road and Terace Drive.

The Yellow Trail also ends at Terrace Drive South Trailhead, and the beginning of Orange Trail is near the stables on John Findley Drive. The Red Trail, also known as the Double Oak Trail, is 17 miles long and designated as a cycle path, but steep in places and uneven in other cases.

The Red Trail is a circular route, and both trails can be used by hikers and cyclists, but it is the only path in the park that cyclists can use. The White Trail and Shackleford Point Trail are two of the most popular bike trails in Oak Mountain State Park. Both paths are designated as cycle paths, so that both paths are open to all hikers or cyclists.

The White Trail leads to the park's highest point, Shackleford Point, at 1,260 feet. Start on the North Trail and follow it for about 1.5 miles, then take the connecting path while going all the way up and come back to your path that leads down.

The White Trail ends at the parking lot near Peavine Falls, so take the connecting trail to go all the way up and come back on the path you went down. The Blue Trail and the South Rim Trail are the two main trails in Oak Mountain State Park, both about 1.5 miles long.

Starting from North Trailhead, the Blue Trail climbs steeply from an altitude of about 620 feet to about 1100 feet. Once the climb is complete, follow the path along the ridges to Peavine Falls and then down again to the parking lot. Starting at the South Rim Trail, walk south on the south side of the park, past the White Trail. The Yellow Trail, known as the "headland path," is a 2.5 km long trail that starts at the North Trail and runs south along a steep, rocky and rocky ridge.

There have been some climbs, but Maggie's Glen is a popular hiking spot, with a height of about 620 feet to about 1100 feet and a steep climb to Peavine Falls.

It is located on a creek bank where many plant and tree species grow, and there is a very quiet place to sit and relax.

Access is from the parking lot on the east side of the park, and there are two hiking trails, the Green Trail and the path of Peavine Falls. It starts at the top of the Green Trail, known as the Pine Falls Trail, and is the only path that has access to the creek bank and a waterfall on its side.

The Green Path stretches from an altitude of about 550 feet to about 1100 feet and starts about a mile further from Terrace Drive. The Green Trail does not lead directly to Peavine Falls, but it ends at the Peavey Falls parking lot, where you can reach the White and Blue Trails that lead to the falls.

The Wildlife Center Trail is located on the east side of Terrace Drive, about one mile from the parking lot. Beach parking leads to the Wildlife Center, and the Blue Trail leads to Peavine Falls and Peavey Falls.

The Orange Trail is 10.7 miles long and is known as the Horse Trail, and it is only suitable for hiking and cycling. The trail starts at a stable on John Findley Drive and ends at the stables again, but is 10 miles long. It is also a great place for birds of prey to recover from injuries, as well as for birdwatchers and hikers.

Oak Mountain State Park is the largest national park in Alabama, covering nearly 10,000 hectares and the second largest in the state after Oak Mountain National Park.

Guided hikes are offered from Wednesday to Sunday, on Saturday and Sunday RangeRiding Drive - in and Ride - In. Guests can stay overnight and bring their own horses. Guests can also visit a horse boarding facility and ride the Oak Mountain Trail for free.

It is recommended to call the concessionaire at 205 - 620 - 3575 to obtain information on reservations. The parking lot and garage at Oak Mountain State Park are currently closed on Mondays and Tuesdays.

Reservations are recommended if you want to drive on Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays, but reservations can also be made on Saturdays, Sundays and Mondays. There are no reservation times and the minimum age for riding is 8 years for adults. If you want to go for a walk at the weekend - and want to get a guaranteed ride - you should also make a reservation. This is a guided hike from the parking lot at Oak Mountain State Park to the hiking trail on the east side of the park.

Parking tickets for individual hiking trails are available at the park office and several other facilities. There are over a kilometer of hiking and biking trails available, whether on the east side of Oak Mountain State Park or on the west side or in the parking lot.

We also offer private hay rides and we have a variety of animals with which you can interact and see them. The fishing center at the back of the park is located on the west side of Oak Mountain State Park, just off the road east of our parking lot. A variety of food and drinks are available, including beer, wine and wine tastings.

You can bring an electric motor that you can use in your boat, but no gas engines are allowed. Life jackets and paddles are available, as well as boat equipment such as life jackets and paddle boards.

The outdoor swimming pool is located near the park office on Terrassenweg, and swimming is free for all who enter the park.

The beautiful sandy beach for swimming and picnicking can be used daily from 9 am to 4 pm, and toilets and changing rooms are available on the beach.

The Alabama Wildlife Center is located in Oak Mountain State Park on the west side of the national park, north of Auburn. Each year, AWC receives over 100 different species of over a hundred orphaned and injured animals from across the country, as well as more than 1,000 wild animals.

The Oak Mountain Interpretive Center is located at the Alabama Wildlife Center on the west side of the park, just off Interstate 65. The Interpretative Center has a large exhibition area with a wide variety of animals, birds, reptiles, amphibians and birds of prey. All of these animals will be on display so guests can witness the incredible work of the Alabama Wildlife Center and donate to the care of the animals. It is open daily from April to October from 10 am to 5 pm and from May to September from Monday to Friday from 12 am to 4 pm.
