About Natural Bridge State Park
The park takes its name from the natural sandstone arch, and the bridge is 1.80 m high and is located in Natural Bridge State Park, a state park in New Jersey, USA. It takes millions of years to develop into a natural bridge over the Great Lakes in the northern part of the state with a span of 1,000 m.
Each season has its own charm at the natural bridge, and each season attracts hikers to the park in search of its unique beauty and natural beauty. Hemlock Lodge is located on the top of the bridge overlooking the pool complex on Hoedown Island.
Enter the house and enjoy the beautiful ambience of the surrounding forest or try one of our cottages in the entire park. When you get out of your holiday home, you will be surrounded by beauty, with views of the island of Hoedown and the natural bridge in front of you.
The cabins are available in the late afternoon and the cabin is available until late afternoon.
Crockery, cooking utensils and bed linen are provided and fresh linen is provided daily, as well as fresh fruit and vegetables.
Twelve primitive campsites are available, 82 with utilities, all equipped with comfort. Enjoy the nature in the park from any campsite and be equipped with all the comforts of home while enjoying nature and the beauty of Natural Bridge State Park.
Natural Bridge State Park is one of the largest and most popular primitive campgrounds in the state, with more than 2,000 square feet of available tent space.
Hemlock Lodge has 35 rooms and a private balcony, so you can enjoy the beauty of the mountain slopes. Pets are not allowed or kept in the lodge or on any of the campsites, except in a small number of private cottages.
In the late afternoon, the rooms are available from 07: 30 until 10: 00. M. and early in the morning from 9 am to 1 pm, with rooms available until late afternoon.
A limited number of lodge rooms will be available for pets, and a limited number of parking spaces will be available in the parking lot at the entrance to the park.
The new pool complex is located on the sea cliff behind Hemlock Lodge and the complex includes a pool that can be accessed via steps and holds 80,000 gallons of water with a water depth of zero in the pool. The main pool has a pool area of 1,500 square meters, with two pools and a diving board.
Next to it is a fenced in paddling pool with three pools, a tennis court and two tennis courts, as well as a picnic table and picnic area.
Except on Labor Day, when they are used, there are no lifeguards in the baths, but seasonally they open for free for cabins and holiday house guests. Ten hiking trails are one - and - one - half to seven and a half kilometres long, with a total of 14 kilometres of hiking trails.
Hiking maps are available at Hemlock Lodge and daily summer activities are led by recreational workers. The Nature Centre is located on the ground floor of the activity centre and offers year-round events and activities focusing on local plants, geology and local history.
Natural Bridge State Resort Park offers more than just fun and family vacation; pets are allowed and many hiking opportunities are also offered. The park is bordered by the Great Lakes and the Hudson River, and the Natural Bridge Reservoir is bordered by the park, which offers great views of the New York State Park System and plenty of hiking opportunities.
A team of professional naturalists is available all year round to create interpretative programs and organize events. The best time to see the birds is in May and June, when the warbler and other neotropic birds return and are the loudest and most active. Autumn hikes at the end of September are also good, as are the early morning and evening hours in the summer months.
The winter bird watching in the park is also fun, as many leaves have fallen and you can see birds of prey such as owls, wolverines and even the cows of the Carolinas. Spotted woodpeckers, crested tits, redlegged sparrows, blackbirds and other birds live here all year round.
The best place to discover these feathered friends is the island between the lake and the hut.
Hoedown IslandMosey down and on to the east side of the park, south of Lake Okeechobee and then north to Lake Eureka. The island is a great place for bird watching, fishing, hiking and other outdoor activities.
The park also hosts square dance weekends throughout the year, and the annual brochure calls it the Natural Bridge State Park Square Dance Park or Natural Bridge Square Dance Park.
The ascent starts 800 meters from the entrance of the park and ends 600 feet above the natural bridge. Enjoy the ride on the Sky Lift on top of the ascent and enjoy spectacular views of New York City and the Hudson River.
The swimming pool is open daily from 9 am to 5 pm and from 10 am to 4 pm and from 1.30 pm to 6 pm. The park is located on the east side of the park, north of New York City and south of the Hudson River.
