About Norrie State Park

Together, Margaret Lewis and Norrie State Park cover more than 1,000 acres and are one of the largest state parks in upstate New York.

Numerous hiking trails run through the grounds of Mills and Norrie State Parks, as well as a number of trails in the park parking lot.

The slide and boat ramp of the marina is a popular area in the park, and there are 145 slides and fix-up floating, which are rented seasonally. The marinas also have showers and pumping stations, so short-term boaters are welcome as long as space allows.

Electricity connections are available for a small fee, and electricity connections for the use of electricity are available in the main parking lot of the park as well as in a number of other facilities.

There are 46 campsites and 10 cabins in the park and the quiet forest area overlooking the river is an ideal place for camping. Recreational vehicles are also welcome, and campers and boats can be enjoyed on Saturdays during the summer months. The park does not offer a ticket system, but you can purchase tent permits at the main parking lot.

All toilets and showers are within walking distance, and there is even a water fountain at the entrance to the park, as well as a picnic table and picnic area.
