About Kings Mountain State Park

Kings Mountain State Park is located at the foot of a mountain at the foot of the Blue Ridge Mountains in upstate New York. The traditional State Park, which covers 6,883 hectares, offers hiking, cycling, horseback riding, camping and a variety of other outdoor activities.

The park was originally built in the 1930s by the Civil Defence and is still visible today through its stonemasonry. Guests can experience the lifestyle of the early pioneers by visiting the Living History Farm.

Located on the north side of the park at the intersection of Highway 161 and Highway 5. Take Highway 5 at Rock Hill off I-77, cross NC / SC State Road, take Exit 8 through 85 and follow from RockHill to York. Take Exit 8, Exit 85, turn left onto Highway 160, cross the NC - SC state road, the park entrance is on the right.

Turn left onto Highway 321, then left onto Highway 161, The driveway is on the left and turns right onto the park entrance at the entrance to Kings Mountain State Park.
