Kingdom Come is Kentucky's highest state park at 1,500 meters and offers unique views. Located on the west side of Kentucky State Park, south of Louisville, Kentucky, the park is named after the orphaned boy John Fox Jr., who is known as the "Little Shepherd of the Kingdom." It is located on a steep hill at an altitude of 3,500 feet and offers views to the east and west. Unusual rock formations can be seen around the parks, including a huge monolith that rises into the air at a 45-degree angle.

The park has a campground, but camping is not allowed on the paths of the park, and primitive camping outside designated areas is not allowed.

Campers can register with a gift shop or a parking attendant and use the toilets and picnic huts, but no fee is charged for the night in the park.

The 2 picnic shelters in the park are equipped with barbecues, vending machines and toilets, but pets are not allowed or kept. Large groups wishing to rent accommodation are accepted for reservations one year in advance. If not reserved, the accommodations can be used by any group, but pets are not allowed and pets cannot be kept in any of the picnic huts.

There are picnic areas with stone fireplaces and barbecues throughout the park, and many of the trails can be combined to create walks of varying lengths and difficulty. A total of 14 hiking trails that run through the State Park, as well as a number of other trails, offer a variety of opportunities to explore the natural beauty and history of Kingdom Come State Park. These routes are suitable for all ages and abilities, from beginners to advanced and mountain bikers, and for all levels of experience.

The trails are open all year round and there are guides available throughout the park as well as a variety of other resources such as maps, maps and brochures.

This road leads from the park to the top of Pine Mountain, and it is a narrow, black gravel path (think of gravel) that stretches from Whitesburg to Harlan over the crest of Pine Mountain. This is the only paved road in the state of Kentucky and one of only a handful of roads in Kentucky.

The amphitheatre at the foot of the Rock of the Raven is equipped with lighting and seating to accommodate scout groups and community groups looking for a completely natural place to meet.

The lakeside gift shop offers Kentucky crafts and souvenirs, and a giant brownstone house is accessible from the park's main parking lot.
